It's 1981 when 14 year old Heather Keating’s world unravels after she discovers her father read her diary.

Her future hangs in the balance when she is called before the Jehovah's Witness elders to repent or be disfellowshipped for her actions. Heather's mother dutifully delivers her to face a panel of older men in humiliation and shame. What’s revealed we find to be far more tragic than what she is on trial for.

In the tone of 12 Angry Men, we witness the disempowerment of a teenage girl as she faces the patriarchy of an old institution.
